We live in Alton Bay, NH and had NH Generators install a Kohler whole house propane-powered generator because we were concerned about a local history of power outages when we were away and pipes freezing, etc. We dealt with Bill Herlicka who responded quickly to our home, performed an assessment of our needs and provided a very reasonable estimate. During the building process, our electrician installed an automatic Kohler generator switch which took into consideration all circuits including our well pump, air infuser to the new septic system and all household circuits. We chose NH Generators (NHG) because they were responsive, Bill Herlicka was professional and he answered all our questions and we developed confidence that they would do a good job.
On the day of installation, they arrived as scheduled, brought along the new generator, wiring and accessories and everything needed to effect the installation. Bill and his electrician team acquired the required permits and neatly, efficiently and professionally installed our new generator in two days including a final inspection. The crew assigned were so professional, knowledgeable and friendly and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer job. They cleaned up after the install, tested it, fired it up and measured power adequacy to ensure it was working as intended. They also voluntarily got us a $500 manufacturers rebate, extended 10 year Kohler warranty and gave us some training how it works. They are a “one-stop” shop that provides maintenance and repairs (if ever needed) and have an on-call maintenance team certified by Kohler which is a comfort that they know what they are doing!
